Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tetsuo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

I was talking to Mamchenko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

I've been told that Tetsuo has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mamchenko is trying to drag Tetsuo to the mat but Tetsuo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mamchenko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tetsuo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
