Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mulu Namununga (ranked 4488 p4p, 501 weight class) and Christian Magnier (ranked 4044 p4p, 479 weight class). Namununga comes to the ring accompanied by Dark Sunrise. Christian Magnier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namununga tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Magnier displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Namununga throws out the jab.

Magnier has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Magnier takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Christian Magnier has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Namununga is pushing Magnier's head away, looking to escape. Magnier manages to hold on to the position though.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Namununga is trying to get back to his feet but Magnier has full control of the position and if anything, Namununga has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Magnier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
