Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cavey Beaumont (ranked 325 p4p, 11 weight class) and Aapeli Vipunen (ranked 399 p4p, 13 weight class). Vipunen has chosen Solonen ft. Kosola - LÄSKI! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Aapeli Vipunen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vipunen throws the kick towards the body but Beaumont avoids it.

We've been informed that Vipunen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Vipunen is stalling here. Beaumont is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Vipunen seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Beaumont has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
