Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Honda (ranked 578 p4p, 19 weight class) and Archie Trew (ranked 875 p4p, 27 weight class). Honda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is E. Honda Stage Theme Extended. Trew has chosen Fuck You - Lily Allen as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Trew there.

It looks like Edmond Honda has been cut.
Trew connects with a right hand. Honda shakes it off.
Honda tries for a takedown but Trew circles away easily
enabling Trew to counter with a crisp jab.
Trew avoids the body shot from Honda.
A jab lands there for Trew.
Honda seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Honda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Honda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trew defends it nicely.
Trew throws out a counter right but Honda avoids it with no problem.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trew breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Honda throws a head kick that misses.
Honda throws a body kick that misses
and Trew counters with a left to the body.
Honda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trew defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edmond Honda. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Honda throws a body punch but Trew moves out of range.

Trew has Honda up against the cage in a clinch.
Trew lands a nice uppercut.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Edmond Honda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
