Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between tomas fonacier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Butterball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, tomas fonacier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Butterball!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
fonacier shoots for a takedown but Butterball saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
fonacier gets caught flat footed, as Butterball shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Butterball trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
fonacier throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
fonacier throwing short punches from the bottom.
fonacier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
fonacier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
fonacier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Butterball gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Butterball drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Butterball jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Butterball thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Butterball works over fonacier with some ground and pound from guard.
Butterball passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Butterball has an Americana. fonacier didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Butterball is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Butterball hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
