The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzumaki fails with a takedown attempt.

Uzumaki feints and as Kumar raises his hands in defense, Uzumaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Uzumaki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kumar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Uzumaki defends it easily.
Kumar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uzumaki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uzumaki drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Uzumaki as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kumar screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Uzumaki! Nice submission victory there!
