Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Baccalieri (ranked 3073 p4p, 352 weight class) and Rudi Serada (ranked 2924 p4p, 337 weight class). Rudi Serada will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Baccalieri was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Baccalieri throws an overhand right that lands on Serada's shoulder, as Serada tries to avoid the shot.
We've been told by Baccalieri's head coaches at RWB GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Serada misses with a body shot
and Baccalieri counters with a nice body shot.
Serada throws a sloppy head kick and Baccalieri moves out of range easily.
Baccalieri jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Serada scores with the left hand. Baccalieri knows he should have avoided that one.

It looked like Baccalieri wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baccalieri throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Serada stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Baccalieri counters with a crisp one two that drops Serada! Baccalieri thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Serada to his feet! Serada is in big trouble!

Serada throws out a loose jab but Baccalieri uses good head movement to avoid it.
Serada moves out of range as Baccalieri strikes.
Baccalieri throws a shot from downtown. Serada moves away and avoids it.
Rudi Serada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Serada missing with a left hand there. Baccalieri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Baccalieri was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Serada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Baccalieri cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Serada lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Baccalieri at a distance.

and Baccalieri counters with a stiff right hand.

Serada is rocked!
Serada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Baccalieri counters with a huge left! Serada is in big trouble! He's backing up but Baccalieri isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Serada from any more damage. A dominating finish by Baccalieri!
