Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Parker (ranked 8050 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spotlight Kid (ranked 5310 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Parker manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kid keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Parker has a couple of punches blocked by Kid.

Parker lands an elbow that stopped Kid in his tracks for a moment.
Parker is looking to control Kid's arms but Kid gets an underhook and turns him. Now Parker has his back to the cage.

Kid is pushing down on Parker's leg trying to pass to half guard. Parker is fighting to maintain full guard but Kid has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kid lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kid drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Parker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kid sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Parker's guard.
