Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uriah Small (ranked 1541 p4p, 184 weight class) and Don Glover (ranked 2074 p4p, 252 weight class). Uriah Small has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Glover's coach down at Far-Q Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Glover's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Glover throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Small tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Glover is in Small's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
