Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaxson Kane!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to clinch up
and Rigano counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rigano looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kane!
Rigano connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kane some visible discomfort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rigano grinds an elbow into Kane's temple.
Rigano controls the position.
Rigano working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Kane tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rigano presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

It looks like Jaxson Kane has been cut.
Kane tries to control the position but Rigano now has his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rigano is cranking Kane's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kane! He's tightened the choke and Kane is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cliff Rigano!
