PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lakoj Dresden (ranked 1467 p4p, 220 weight class) and Irvine Kinneas (ranked 1031 p4p, 156 weight class). Kinneas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Judas Priest - Electric Eye kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lakoj Dresden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Irvine Kinneas!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dresden throws a series of punches but Kinneas avoids them all with ease.
Despite the aggression on Kinneas's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Dresden misses with a double jab.
Dresden moves out of range as Kinneas throws a body kick.
Kinneas connects with a solid leg kick.
Lakoj Dresden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dresden is looking to clinch but Kinneas is avoiding it.
Dresden tries to close the distance and clinch but Kinneas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dresden moves out of range as Kinneas throws a body kick.
Kinneas works the jab nicely.
Kinneas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dresden on the side of the head.

Irvine Kinneas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Irvine Kinneas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dresden closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kinneas's guard.
