Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Noob Saibot (ranked 2112 p4p, 188 weight class) and Jean Labosky (ranked 2428 p4p, 208 weight class). Saibot comes to the cage accompanied by TEST YOUR MIGHT. Noob Saibot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 47 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Noob Saibot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 30 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saibot misses with a wild body shot.
Saibot takes one to the chin there.
Labosky throws a body shot but no joy.
Saibot definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Saibot steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Labosky. That one must have hurt.
Saibot darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Saibot misses with a hook. Labosky ducked under it nicely.

Saibot gets tackled into the cage by Labosky. Labosky maintains the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Labosky jumps guard but Saibot turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Labosky tries to stand but can't do so whilst Saibot controls his leg.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Labosky wants to control from the top but Saibot keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Saibot lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Saibot moves out of range as Labosky throws a body kick.

Jean Labosky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Labosky counters with a three punch combo that has Saibot backing up. Saibot nods at Labosky to acknowledge the strikes.

Saibot has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Labosky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch but Saibot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saibot paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Labosky connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Labosky feints and then cracks Saibot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Saibot down.

Labosky shapes to counter with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jean Labosky will probably get the nod.

Saibot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Labosky was well out of range. Poor timing from Saibot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Labosky throws a series of punches but Saibot avoids them all with ease.
Saibot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Labosky's waist but Labosky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saibot off to one side.

It looked like Saibot wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Saibot creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Labosky goes for a takedown attempt but Saibot pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Noob Saibot will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

I think Labosky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
