Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathanial Roesler (ranked 6014 p4p, 513 weight class) and Hlasela Dlamini (ranked 4533 p4p, 451 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nathanial Roesler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hlasela Dlamini!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roesler has closed the distance and engaged Dlamini in a clinch.

Roesler manages to pull guard.
Dlamini controlling from the top position.

Roesler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dlamini gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Roesler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dlamini loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dlamini moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Roesler has worked his arm free - good work by Roesler!

Roesler is concentrating on defense, preventing Dlamini from advancing position.

Dlamini connects with a good right hand that stumbles Roesler. Roesler circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dlamini shoots in looking for a takedown but Roesler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dlamini's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hlasela Dlamini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roesler gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dlamini has a couple of punches blocked by Roesler.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roesler gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roesler is looking to work some ground and pound but Dlamini has wrist control.
Roesler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dlamini swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Roesler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dlamini manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Roesler has Dlamini in his guard.

Dlamini has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Roesler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dlamini is one step ahead there.
Dlamini is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Dlamini stays in close to Roesler's body and controls the position.

Dlamini shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Roesler as he jumps to the side.
Nathanial Roesler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hlasela Dlamini.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Roesler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dlamini has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roesler has managed to get both his arms back between Dlamini's legs - danger averted.

Roesler content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Dlamini has locked up a guillotine! Dlamini's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Roesler is holding on here and Dlamini must be using up a lot of energy. Roesler has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dlamini gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Hlasela Dlamini!
A very excited looking Hlasela Dlamini made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
