Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Guns. That's going to slow Trucks down.
Decent striking displayed by Trucks there.
Trucks attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Trucks loads up on a big right hand but Guns slips the punch.
Trucks throws a leg kick but Guns sees it coming and moves out of range.
Guns throws out a counter right but Trucks avoids it with no problem.

It looks like Derek Trucks has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Guns drops his shoulder and cracks Trucks with a huge uppercut! Trucks goes down! Can Guns finish him?

Trucks is rocked!
Guns throws an elbow that misses. Trucks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Guns's guard. Nice move by Trucks!

Oh Trucks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Guns working for a triangle but Trucks defends it easily.
Guns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Guns bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trucks's guard.

Guns drops back looking for a leg! Trucks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trucks manages to kick Guns off! Guns jumps back into Trucks's guard.

Guns lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Guns is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Trucks is aware though and is defending well.
Guns is trying to control the position but Trucks postures up.

Guns escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trucks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Trucks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guns has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trucks has managed to get both his arms back between Guns's legs - danger averted.

Guns is looking for a choke. Trucks gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Trucks manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Guns tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Guns is looking for a triangle here but Trucks uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Guns manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guns tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Trucks has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Guns is desperately trying to improve his position but Trucks has a good base and remains in mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Trucks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Trucks looks to land a left hand but Guns moved out of range nicely.
Trucks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Guns paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Trucks throws a low kick, looking for Guns's leg but Guns calmly moves out of range.

Big Guns seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Trucks takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Trucks is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Guns pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Trucks connects with the punch.
Trucks lands a body shot.
Trucks wants to slow Guns down by chopping away at his legs.
Guns let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Trucks sizes up Guns with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Guns throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Guns walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Trucks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Trucks looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Trucks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Guns works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Derek Trucks's cut is getting worse.
Guns misses with an uppercut.
Guns lands a jab to the nose.
Trucks throws a series of punches but Guns avoids them all with ease.
and Guns counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Trucks! He's just covering up as Guns starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
