The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knox moves away.
Wesson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Knox avoids the body shot from Wesson.
Knox looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knox throws a looping overhand right but Wesson ducks down to avoid it.
A slow jab from Wesson misses its intended target.
We've been informed that Wesson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice defenses there by Wesson.
Knox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wesson.

Knox lands a big head kick that sends Wesson tumbling to the mat! Knox takes a step backwards and waves Wesson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wesson lunges at Knox with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Knox's hand.
Knox throws out a loose jab but Wesson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wesson feints and then cracks Knox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knox down.
Wesson misses with a body kick.
Wesson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Knox momentarily.
Wesson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Knox connects with a high kick.

A looping hook to the body misses from Knox. Wesson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knox cracks Wesson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wesson falls to his knees and Knox doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
