Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dae Won Bong (ranked 3255 p4p, 375 weight class) and James Corbett (ranked 5004 p4p, 502 weight class). Bong comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Hits From the Bong. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as James Corbett enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dae Won Bong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, James Corbett!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett with a poor takedown
and Bong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Corbett misses with a takedown
and Bong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like James Corbett has been cut.
Corbett closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bong counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bong dips to his left and cracks Corbett with an uppercut!
Bong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Corbetts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Corbett gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dae Won Bong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Corbett.
Corbett shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bong counters with a nice uppercut.
Bong seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Corbett looks winded!

and Bong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Corbett shoots and misses
and Bong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Corbett walks into a jab.
Corbett is rocked!
Bong drops Corbett with a straight right hand, right on the button! Bong follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dae Won Bong!
A relieved looking Dae Won Bong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
