Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wilky Pierre (ranked 700 p4p, 90 weight class) and Pete Vonshredder (ranked 803 p4p, 101 weight class). Vonshredder is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nobody Speak. Pete Vonshredder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pete Vonshredder!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vonshredder.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pierre looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pierre forces Vonshredder back against the ropes and clinches.
Vonshredder is looking to break free of the clinch but Pierre has double underhooks.
Vonshredder wants to break the clinch but can't.

Vonshredder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vonshredder swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pierre.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Vonshredder thuds a left hand into Pierre's body.

and Vonshredder counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pierre instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Vonshredder's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pierre tries to pull guard but Vonshredder forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.
Vonshredder is trying to break the clinch but Pierre is controlling him.

Vonshredder breaks the clinch.
Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch but Vonshredder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pierre avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Pierre drives through and clinches with Vonshredder against the ropes.
Vonshredder swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pierre tries to pull guard but Vonshredder holds him up against the ropes and eventually Pierre drops back down to his feet.
Vonshredder wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Pierre pulls Vonshredder into guard.
Vonshredder would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pierre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pierre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vonshredder defends it easily.

Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vonshredder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pierre has his feet on Vonshredder's thighs here. He's pushed Vonshredder off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Vonshredder screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
