Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saiarr moves away from the strike by Von Lee.

and Saiarr counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Von Lee thinking.
Von Lee moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Saiarr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

As Von Lee backs away, Saiarr returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

A quick step to the side and Saiarr tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That kick from Von Lee tenderised Saiarr's leg. Saiarr is trying to keep his angry face on.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clifton Von Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saiarr throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

The fighters circling - Saiarr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Saiarr counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Saiarr drops Von Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Von Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Saiarr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kayring Saiarr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Von Lee tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Saiarr lands a brutal uppercut that launches Von Lee off his feet! Von Lee tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
