Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott John (ranked 837 p4p, 114 weight class) and Gniewomir Lach (ranked 1100 p4p, 146 weight class). Lach is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Soel. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gniewomir Lach!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lach needs to keep his hands up - John had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Gniewomir Lach has been cut.
A jab from John misses.
John looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
John steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lach. That one must have hurt.
John is looking to clinch.
Lach tries a quick counter leg kick but John is wise to it.
John throws an off balance right hand
and Lach counters with a nice uppercut.
John thows a left - swing and a miss!
A looping hook to the body misses from John. Lach does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lach now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A good leg kick by Lach.
Lach slips under a jab.
John misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
John misses with a straight left.
Lach walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
John jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lach lands a jab to the nose.
A nice inside leg kick there by John. That's going to slow Lach down.
Lach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but John manages to avoid it.
A cross from John lands.
John ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lach moves away.
Lach scores with a leg kick.
Lach staying out of range there.
A jab from John does it's job there.
John throws a hook but Lach blocks it.
And Lach responds with a good body kick, but John manages to step out the way in time.
John misses with an uppercut
and Lach counters with a straight right hand.
John throws a right hand that misses
and Lach counters with a leg kick.
Lach staying out of range there.
John throws a leg kick
letting Lach counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
John throws a body punch but Lach moves out of range.
Lach looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lach misses with a looping right.
Lach feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends John sprawling to the canvas! John rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lach finish him?!
John is rocked!
John stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lach.
Oh John is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
John throws a right hand that misses
and Lach counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gniewomir Lach!
Gniewomir Lach decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
