Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Pew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brian Baggs!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pew manages to avoid it.

Pew shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baggs's guard.

Baggs has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Pew has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Pew avoids a wild elbow strike from Baggs.
Still in the clinch, Baggs scores with a nice short uppercut.

Baggs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The Pew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Baggs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
