Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Point (ranked 816 p4p, 102 weight class) and Lazuran Riku (ranked 2124 p4p, 246 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riku throws out a loose jab but Point uses good head movement to avoid it.
Point has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Riku tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Riku scores with a jab to the jaw.
Riku bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Point's head backwards.
Point looks for the body kick but Riku saw that one coming.

Riku looks to land a left hand but Point moved out of range nicely.

Riku let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

As Riku looks to move away, Point throws a big counter combo but Riku just gets out of the way.

Point feints and then cracks Riku's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Riku down.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Point will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Point cracks Riku with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Riku might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Point has got the better of the exchanges.

Point dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Riku. That did some damage!
