The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mee has Peters up against the cage in a clinch.
Peters wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mee has him pressed against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Mee is pressed up against the cage. Peters has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mee down to the mat. Mee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mee moves into the clinch.

Mee pulls guard effortlessly.

Mee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Mee tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Mee controlling the action here for a moment.
Peters swings wildly with an uppercut but Mee uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peters misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mee.
Peters drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mee lands a body punch in the clinch.

Mee lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Buford Peters has been cut.
Peters is trying to drag Mee to the mat but Mee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buford Peters. That's going to take a lot out of him.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Peters.
Mee is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mee lands a big knee! That's hurt Peters! Oh, he's all over the place! Mee lands another knee that sends Peters to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
