Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akihiro Gomi (ranked 4438 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Wagner (ranked 24283 p4p, 467 weight class). Wagner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Akihiro Gomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner closes the distance but Gomi moves to the side
and Gomi counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gomi lands a head kick. Wagner smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Jack Wagner has been cut.
Wagner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gomi has his feet on Wagner's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wagner wants to clinch
and Gomi counters with a series of strikes. Wagner will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wagner fails with the takedown
and Gomi counters with a low kick, right behind Wagner 's knee.
Wagner shoots and misses
and Gomi counters with a nice body shot.
Gomi jabs Wagner right on the nose. Wagner blinks but takes it well.
Wagner tries to clinch
and Gomi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've been told by Gomi's head coaches at Gangsterdamage that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wagner looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gomi, right into the meat.
Gomi has managed to clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gomi.
Gomi lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wagner is rocked!
Gomi scores with a shot to the side of Wagner's head.
Wagner is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomi finish him?
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gomi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gomi dips a shoulder and cracks Wagner with a mighty uppercut! Wagner falls back against the cage and Gomi unloads with a barrage of strikes! Wagner is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gomi screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akihiro Gomi!
A very excited looking Akihiro Gomi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
