Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Butcher (ranked 2417 p4p, 335 weight class) and Slapped Silly (ranked 3210 p4p, 424 weight class). Butcher comes to the cage accompanied by Won't Back Down. Slapped Silly told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Butcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slapped Silly!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silly misses with a left hand
and Butcher counters with a straight right hand.
Silly takes one to the side of the head.
Silly is looking to clinch but Butcher is avoiding it.
Silly looks to score with a jab to the body but Butcher is just out of range.
Butcher scores with a decent looking hook.
Silly walks into a stiff left hand from Butcher.
Silly throws a hook to the side of Butcher's head but Butcher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silly cracks a nice hook into Butcher's ribs.
Silly misses with a hook.
Butcher tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silly is able to avoid easily.
Silly appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Silly swings widly with a right hand
and Butcher counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silly's knee momentarily.
Butcher displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silly throws out the jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Silly misses the target.
Silly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A lazy left from Butcher finds it's target.

Butcher changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Butcher scores with a nice head shot.
Butcher moves out of range as Silly strikes.
Butcher tried to counter with a leg kick but Silly avoided it.
Butcher staying out of range there.
Silly stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Butcher.

Oooooh!!! Butcher has knocked Silly down with a huge combo! Butcher steps away and waves a wobbly Silly back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silly has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Silly is still on wobbly legs! Can Butcher finish him?
Silly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Butcher.
Silly seems to have recovered his senses.
Butcher scores with a jab.

Silly lunges at Butcher with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Butcher's hand.
Silly falls off balance throwing a combination
and Butcher counters with a stiff right hand.
Silly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butcher swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silly misses with an uppercut. Butcher saw that one coming.
Butcher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Butcher connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Silly keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Butcher.
Butcher avoids the body shot from Silly.
Butcher cracks a nice hook into Silly's ribs.
Silly connects with a jab.
Silly tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Butcher is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Silly misses with an uppercut. Butcher saw that one coming.
Slapped Silly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silly wants to clinch up but Butcher keeps it at a distance.
Silly misses with a hook
and Butcher counters with a thumping low kick.
Butcher moves into range and connects with a jab.
Silly falls off balance throwing a combination
and Butcher counters with a leg kick.
Silly pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Butcher is looking to counter punch.
Silly throws a hook but Butcher avoids it easily.
Silly misses with a lunging right hand
and Butcher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Butcher circles away from the clinch attempt.
Butcher just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been informed that Silly has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Good leg kick by Butcher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Silly swings widly with a right hand
and Butcher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silly falls off balance throwing a combination
and Butcher cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Silly misses with an uppercut. Butcher saw that one coming.
Butcher swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Butcher scores with a nice strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silly misses with a hook.
Silly waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Butcher.
Silly looks to score with a jab to the body but Butcher is just out of range.
Butcher scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Silly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Butcher.
Butcher lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Butcher chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silly swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Butcher counter with a right hand.
Butcher fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Silly to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Silly looks to clinch but Butcher throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Silly taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Billy Butcher!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Billy Butcher waved his t-shirt featuring KnockOut's logo in front of the cameras.
