Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deontay Wilder (ranked 5290 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sloan (ranked 5317 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sloan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wilder displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sloan.

Sloan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wilder is trying to control Sloan's posture but Sloan avoids it.

Wilder tries to close the distance and clinch but Sloan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wilder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sloan leaves Wilder with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wilder lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sloan circles away quickly and effectively.

Wilder drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sloan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sloan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sloan!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sloan controls the position.
Sloan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The strikes coming from Sloan are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
You can see the frustration on Wilder 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sloan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilder . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
