Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joel shoots in and gets a takedown into Yakuza's guard.
Joel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Yakuza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Joel throws a big elbow that misses.
Joel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Yakuza controls Joel momentarily but Joel frees himself.
Joel sitting in guard here, content to control.
Joel passes Yakuza's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Joel thows a huge punch but Yakuza dodges it nicely.
Joel slips a nice elbow through Yakuza's hands, connecting with Yakuza's forehead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joel takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Joel controlling the pace.
Joel lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Joel has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Joel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yakuza looks a forlorn figure.

Yakuza is rocked!
Joel loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Yakuza scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Joel land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Joel stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Joel!
