Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bone Crusher (ranked 23708 p4p, 598 weight class) and Bernz Rammenstein (ranked 7081 p4p, 546 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rammenstein lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Crusher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rammenstein sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crusher somewhat.
Rammenstein pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rammenstein staying out of range there.
Rammenstein tries to counter with a clinch but Crusher shakes him off and moves away.
Crusher looks to land a right hand but Rammenstein moved out of range.

Crusher shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rammenstein is trying to defend but Crusher finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rammenstein manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Crusher keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crusher on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rammenstein prevents the takedown attempt.

Rammenstein is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Crusher can't fight it off and eventually Rammenstein manages to take the fight to the floor. Crusher looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rammenstein working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Crusher's head.
Crusher really is a fat lump.

Rammenstein connects with a couple of short punches.

It looks like Bone Crusher has been cut.
Rammenstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Crusher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Crusher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rammenstein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crusher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rammenstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rammenstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rammenstein wants to control from the top but Crusher keeps moving.
Rammenstein working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Crusher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rammenstein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crusher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rammenstein lands a couple of digs.

Crusher throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rammenstein uses it to pass to side control.
Crusher sneaks back into half guard.
Rammenstein scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Bone Crusher's cut is getting worse.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bone Crusher's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
