Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Bowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Beecher!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Beecher counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Beecher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bowen.
Bowen throws a shot from downtown. Beecher moves away and avoids it.
Bowen throws an off balance right hand
enabling Beecher to counter with a crisp jab.
Beecher lands a head kick. Bowen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Brandon Bowen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowen swings widly with a right hand
and Beecher finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Beecher catches Bowen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bowen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bowen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It seemed like Beecher was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Beecher lands a head kick. Bowen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bowen shoots and misses
and Beecher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bowen throws a combination that misses

and Beecher counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bowen! Beecher lets Bowen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Bowen is rocked!
Beecher lands with a kick to the ribs.
Oh Bowen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bowen is breathing heavily.

Beecher moves into range and clinches up with Bowen.
Beecher lands a nice shot to the body.
Bowen seems to have got his legs back now.
Bowen managing to block the knees to the body from Beecher.

Beecher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beecher cracks Bowen on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bowen falls backwards against the cage. Beecher follows up with more strikes that drop Bowen to his knees. Beecher keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bowen! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Beecher!
Paul Beecher tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
