Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Avalos with a hook.
Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Avalos.
Nice defenses there by Avalos.
Gracie throws a body punch but Avalos moves out of range.
Avalos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Avalos lands in his opponent's guard.
Avalos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Avalos passes into half guard.
Gracie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Avalos scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Avalos is controlling well.
Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Avalos pulls his head out easily.
Avalos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Avalos throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely.

Avalos lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Avalos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Avalos missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Avalos has control of the leg.
Avalos scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Gracie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Avalos scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Avalos thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.
Avalos stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Avalos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Avalos has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Avalos trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Avalos is aware though and is defending well.
Avalos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Avalos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Avalos looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Avalos lands a couple of elbows.

Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Avalos controls the pace.
Gracie working for a triangle but Avalos defends it easily.
Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Avalos should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Avalos should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
