Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Collin Whitley (ranked 4030 p4p, 54 weight class) and Coach Jab (ranked 5781 p4p, 79 weight class). Whitley comes to the cage accompanied by i stand alone. Collin Whitley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab lands a head shot.
Whitley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Whitley 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Collin Whitley has been cut.
Whitley throws an overhand right that lands on Jab's shoulder, as Jab tries to avoid the shot.

Jab clinches up against the cage.
Jab can't find room to land a body shot as Whitley controls the action.

Whitley misses with some punches.
Jab stops a takedown attempt from Whitley.
Jab blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab lands a hook that snaps the head of Whitley backwards.
Jab can't find room to land a body shot as Whitley controls the action.
Jab tries to work over Whitley's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Whitley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jab gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jab presses Whitley against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Jab tries a body shot but Whitley blocks it.

Whitley is trying to pull guard but Jab has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Collin Whitley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jab lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Jab breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice uppercut lands for Jab. That snapped Whitley's head back.
Jab throws a body punch but Whitley moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Whitley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Whitley tries to close the distance and clinch but Jab swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A nice side step and Jab releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Jab blocks a leg kick.
Whitley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jab.
Whitley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jab lunges at Whitley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Whitley's hand.
Whitley looks for a takedown but Jab sprawls well.
Jab circles away from the clinch attempt

Whitley is rocked!
Jab finds Whitley's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Whitley flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Jab lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Whitley will be OK.
