Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Cassel (ranked 3592 p4p, 150 weight class) and Ricardo Rasgado (ranked 6441 p4p, 189 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Augusto Cassel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ricardo Rasgado!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasgado thuds his right hand into Cassel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cassel takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ricardo Rasgado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rasgado fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rasgado throws a jab but it's blocked by Cassel.

Cassel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rasgado can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rasgado lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rasgado, as that shot connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ricardo Rasgado dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cassel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rasgado is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
