Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Handle (ranked 3117 p4p, 373 weight class) and Baby Boy Harris (ranked 3655 p4p, 418 weight class). Handle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Right On. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 35 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Handle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baby Boy Harris!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handle lands a jab to the nose.
Harris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Handle has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Handle takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Harris uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Handle.

Handle moves into range and clinches up with Harris.
Handle looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Harris with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Handle tries to break free but Harris pushes him back against the cage.

Handle manages to break the clinch.
Handle lands with a thumping leg kick.
Harris cracks Handle with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Handle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harris defends it nicely.
Handle fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Harris is out of range.
Harris looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Harris misses with a head kick.

and Handle counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Handle lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Handle tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Harris is able to avoid easily.
Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet.
Harris throws a head kick but Handle moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Harris checks a leg kick.
Harris takes a swing at Handle's ribcage but misses.

Handle slips a jab and a cross from Harris.

Handle darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Handle into the cage.

Harris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Handle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Handle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Harris throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Handle.
Handle misses with a hook. Harris ducked under it nicely.

Handle shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Harris throws a right and a left that Handle avoids nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Handle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Harris takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Handle throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Handle looks for the body kick but Harris saw that one coming.
Handle takes one to the chin there.
Harris throws a half hearted mid kick.
Baby Boy Harris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Handle appears to be looking for a big counter.
Handle fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Harris checks it well.

Handle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Harris defends well and Handle ends up having to push Harris into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Handle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harris circles away quickly and effectively.
Harris throws a nice outside leg kick.

Harris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Handle was well out of range. Poor timing from Harris.
Handle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Handle dives in and grabs Harris's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes down on Handle's head and hops out.
Handle walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Harris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Handle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harris circles away.
Handle ducks right into an uppercut from Harris.
Harris turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Harris throws out a loose jab but Handle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Handle moves out of range of the body kick from Harris.
A little feinted left hand from Handle on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Handle will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Harris is looking for the big counter here.
Nice uppercut lands for Harris. That snapped Handle's head back.

Handle dodges the punch combination from Harris.
Handle moves out of range of the strikes.
Handle throws a jab but it's blocked by Harris.

Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sloppy strikes from Harris. Those never looked like landing.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Harris in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Handle.
Harris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Handle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Handle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Handle finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Handle is looking to work some ground and pound but Harris has wrist control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Harris seems keen to control Handle's posture.

Harris has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Handle throws an elbow that misses. Harris uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Handle's guard. Nice move by Harris!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Handle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harris is one step ahead there.

Handle changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Handle feints and then cracks Harris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harris down.

I've got Harris winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
