Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Masa Wasa (ranked 2107 p4p, 237 weight class) and Mr Ward (ranked 3855 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasa comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome To The Jungle. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mr Ward enters the cage!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 10 losses; Masa Wasa! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 10 losses; Mr Ward!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ward shoots in for a double leg but Wasa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wasa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ward sprawls well initially but Wasa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ward manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wasa manages to get himself to full guard.

Wasa won't enjoy being in this position. Ward looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Wasa is tapping - it's over boys! Ward picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mr Ward!
Mr Ward spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
