Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hocka Loogie (ranked 1702 p4p, 199 weight class) and Michael Swango (ranked 2587 p4p, 286 weight class). Loogie comes into the arena with Spit It Out blaring out of the sound system. Hocka Loogie has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hocka Loogie!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Swango!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swango connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Loogie momentarily.
Loogie wants to clinch.
Swango avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Swango throws a right hand that Loogie ducks under and follows up with a left that Loogie also avoids with ease.
Swango lands a glancing blow to the side of Loogie's head.
Swango slips a jab and a cross from Loogie.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loogie doesn't manage to clinch there - Swango circles away.
Loogie misses with a takedown
and Swango counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Swango shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Loogie eats them both and turns towards Swango to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loogie scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Loogie looks for a takedown but Swango sprawls well.

Swango Throws a clean left jab. Swango Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Loogie's chin! Loogie crumbles to the ground and Swango follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Swango!
