Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reinhard Stiglitz (ranked 2561 p4p, 74 weight class) and Kill Phil (ranked 6327 p4p, 168 weight class). Stiglitz comes to the cage accompanied by Warriors Call by Volbeat. Kill Phil will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reinhard Stiglitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kill Phil!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stiglitz has closed the distance and engaged Phil in a clinch.
Stiglitz tries to throw a body punch but Phil avoids it by throwing Stiglitz back against the cage.
Phil has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Stiglitz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stiglitz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Phil wants to take the fight to the mat but Stiglitz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Phil slows down the pace here.
Stiglitz is working Phil over against the cage.
Phil misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Phil fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stiglitz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Phil has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stiglitz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Reinhard Stiglitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kill Phil.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stiglitz tries to throw a body punch but Phil avoids it by throwing Stiglitz back against the cage.

Phil gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Stiglitz regains guard.

Phil gets to his feet. Stiglitz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A jab from Stiglitz misses.
Phil throws out a counter right but Stiglitz avoids it with no problem.

Phil feints and as Stiglitz raises his hands in defense, Phil changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stiglitz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Phil sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Phil wants to control from the top but Stiglitz keeps moving.

Phil looking to sit in guard and control but Stiglitz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Phil has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stiglitz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stiglitz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Phil bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stiglitz's guard.

Stiglitz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Phil is one step ahead there.
Stiglitz has control of Phil's left arm, preventing Phil from doing any damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Phil looking to sit in guard and control but Stiglitz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Phil wants to sweep here but Stiglitz controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stiglitz instigates a clinch.
Stiglitz will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Phil up against the cage.
Stiglitz controlling the action here for a moment.
Stiglitz misses with a punch to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Stiglitz.
Phil tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stiglitz smiles and moves away.
Phil takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Stiglitz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Stiglitz can't find room to land a body shot as Phil controls the action.

Phil drags the fight down to the ground.
Stiglitz controlling from the top position.
Phil is trying to hold Stiglitz in close to prevent damage but Stiglitz has managed to pass into half guard.

Phil has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stiglitz is working away from the top position though.

Stiglitz is taking a breather. Phil says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Phil wants to hold on but Stiglitz pushes him away.
Stiglitz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Phil is trying desperately to improve position.

Stiglitz is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Phil is wriggling around trying to escape.
Phil tries to hold on but Stiglitz postures up.

Phil tries to lock up and control but Stiglitz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reinhard Stiglitz dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Stiglitz thuds a left hand into Phil's body.

Stiglitz gets a clinch.
Stiglitz cracks Phil with a nice body shot.

Stiglitz digs a right hand into Phil's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Phil's gas tank.

Stiglitz lands with a light punch inside.
Stiglitz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Phil backwards.
Stiglitz lands a body punch in the clinch.
Phil takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A left hand lands to the body for Stiglitz.
Phil prevents a body shot from Stiglitz.
Stiglitz tries to work over Phil's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Stiglitz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Phil can do to turn this around?

Stiglitz drops Phil onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Phil is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Phil is rocked!
A right hook to the body lands for Stiglitz.
Phil is still on wobbly legs! Can Stiglitz finish him?
Stiglitz is pushing Phil up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Stiglitz tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Stiglitz lands an uppercut.
Stiglitz lands a shoulder strike.
Stiglitz lands a big right hand that drops Phil! The killer instinct kicks in and Stiglitz finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Stiglitz!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reinhard Stiglitz!
Reinhard Stiglitz gave a mention to Hell's Balls Recovery (160) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
