Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rae Fon (ranked 2174 p4p, 235 weight class) and Taiga Toriyama (ranked 1594 p4p, 185 weight class). Fon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kojak Theme. Toriyama has chosen Japan National Anthem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fon takes the fight into the clinch.
Toriyama on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Fon tries a body shot but Toriyama blocks it.

Toriyama manages to break the clinch.
Toriyama moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Toriyama looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fon fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Toriyama counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toriyama has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fon there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fon has managed to clinch.
Toriyama creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Toriyama is trying to push Fon away but Fon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Toriyama is looking to break free of the clinch but Fon has double underhooks.

Oh Fon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
