Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cocaine (ranked 2075 p4p, 288 weight class) and Clay Frazier (ranked 2415 p4p, 328 weight class). Cocaine comes into the arena with Nothing To Lose blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cocaine finds it's way round the side to connect with Frazier's head.
Frazier throws a leg kick but Cocaine checks it.
Frazier looks to land a left hand but Cocaine moved out of range nicely.

Cocaine drops Frazier with a big left hand and mounts him. Frazier is in big trouble!

Cocaine lands a big elbow that sends Frazier down! Frazier recovers to guard.

Frazier fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cocaine manages to avoid it.
Cocaine waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Frazier. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Frazier to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cocaine controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Frazier is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cocaine is controlling him.

Frazier is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Cocaine stays in close to Frazier's body and controls the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Frazier wants to get back to his feet but Cocaine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
