The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O'Phoenix throws a lazy uppercut
and Columbo counters with a nice uppercut.
O'Phoenix takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Columbo connects with a right hand. O'Phoenix shakes it off.
O'Phoenix misses with a right hand
and O'Phoenix takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A left lands for Columbo.
Columbo connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent O'Phoenix tumbling to the canvas! Columbo pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! O'Phoenix was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Diego Columbo!
