Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Samuelson!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Till has closed the distance and engaged Samuelson in a clinch.

Till won't allow Samuelson to sweep him here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Till has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Samuelson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Till defends it easily.

Till stands and throws Samuelson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've been informed that Samuelson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Till tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Till has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Till wants to control but Samuelson is keeping him busy.
Samuelson is looking to reverse the position.
Samuelson looks to move to half guard but instead Till has passed into mount! Damn!

Till is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Samuelson is just riding it out for now. Till eventually gives up the hold.
Samuelson is looking for a sweep. Till is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Samuelson manages to get to full guard.

Samuelson working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Till has passed into half guard!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Till wants to control but Samuelson is keeping him busy.
Till is really struggling to control Samuelson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Samuelson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Till enables Samuelson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Till manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Samuelson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Till has locked up a guillotine! Till's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Samuelson is holding on here and Till must be using up a lot of energy. Samuelson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Till gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dannis Till!
Dannis Till seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
