Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tim Taylor (ranked 7399 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Yip (ranked 2231 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Tim Taylor! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Franky Yip!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Yip clinches.
Taylor drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yip pulls his leg out and moves away.
Taylor moves in looking to clinch but Yip pushes him off.
Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Taylor rushes Yip and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Yip has picked Taylor up - he's going for a ride! Yip dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Yip is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Taylor is just riding it out for now. Yip eventually gives up the hold.

Taylor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Yip is trying to control. Taylor wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

After the fight, Franky Yip was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
