Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Warror (ranked 110 p4p, 20 weight class) and Russell Northrop (ranked 374 p4p, 51 weight class). Northrop has chosen Alive And Kicking as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northrop looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Northrop lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've been told by Warror's head coaches at Ryōzanpaku Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Northrop closes the distance looking to clinch
and Warror counters with a thumping low kick.
Russell Northrop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Northrop moves into range and connects with a jab.
Warror lands a nice leg kick that just misses Northrop's sensitive parts.
Northrop takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Warror motions for Northrop to come forward. Warror throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Warror takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Northrop throws a low kick, looking for Warror's leg but Warror calmly moves out of range.
Warror loads up on a big right hand but Northrop slips the punch.
Northrop rushes Warror and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Northrop lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Warror tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Northrop ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Northrop no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Northrop looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Northrop is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Warror frees his head nicely. Oh but Northrop has switched to an armbar! Warror is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
