Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tero Susi (ranked 957 p4p, 148 weight class) and Andy Bangsit (ranked 1539 p4p, 234 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Susi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 2, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangsit shoots in for a takedown but Susi shows good takedown defense.
A low kick from Susi is predictable there

and Bangsit counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Susi wriggles free and stands up.
Bangsit tries to clinch there but Susi circles away.

Bangsit closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Susi regains half guard.

Bangsit is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Susi has managed to free his arm - good work.
Susi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Susi.
Bangsit won't allow Susi to get back to his feet.

Bangsit drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Susi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bangsit has Susi in his guard.

Susi's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Bangsit looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Susi looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Susi lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Susi wants to control from the top but Bangsit keeps moving.

Bangsit has his foot on Susi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Susi works his way back into a safe position though.

Bangsit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Susi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bangsit can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Susi controls the pace.

Susi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bangsit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Susi has managed to get both his arms back between Bangsit's legs - danger averted.

Susi works over Bangsit with some ground and pound from guard.

That's time! Susi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Susi scores with a jab. Bangsit acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Susi throws out a loose jab but Bangsit uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bangsit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Susi.
Bangsit replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Susi blocks it well.
Bangsit has a takedown stuffed.
It looked like Susi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Susi cracks Bangsit with a good jab.
Susi throws an overhand right that lands on Bangsit's shoulder, as Bangsit tries to avoid the shot.
Bangsit with the counter takedown but Susi avoids it easily.

Susi throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Bangsit counters by moving into the clinch.
Susi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bangsit can do to turn this around?
Bangsit wants a takedown.
Bangsit changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Susi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tero Susi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Bangsit.
Susi stuffs the takedown attempt from Bangsit. Bangsit gets slowly back to his feet.

Susi cracks Bangsit with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Susi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bangsit to stand back up!

Bangsit avoids the body shot from Susi.
Susi throws a lazy right hand but Bangsit sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Susi tests Bangsit's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bangsit is still on wobbly legs! Can Susi finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Susi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Susi wants it to stay on the feet.
Bangsit seems to have recovered his senses.

Susi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bangsit manages to avoid it.
Susi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Susi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bangsit fails to land the takedown.
Bangsit shoots in but Susi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bangsit looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Susi is fending him off so far but Bangsit persists. Nope, Susi circles away and we're back to standing.
A big left from Susi misses.
Susi lands a jab to the nose.

Susi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bangsit was well out of range. Poor timing from Susi.
Tero Susi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Susi throws a body punch but Bangsit moves out of range.
Bangsit dives in and grabs Susi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Susi pushes down on Bangsit's head and hops out.
Susi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bangsit. Bangsit circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Susi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bangsit uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Susi.
Bangsit shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Susi as he avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bangsit darts in looking for a takedown but Susi gets double underhooks and turns Bangsit into the cage.
Bangsit moves out of range as Susi strikes.
Bangsit looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Susi feints with a jab and clips Bangsit right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bangsit is sent crashing into the canvas and Susi leaps in for the kill! Bangsit tries to get to his feet but Susi is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bangsit is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tero Susi!
Tero Susi seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
