Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dome Graybeard (ranked 4663 p4p, 328 weight class) and Rio Avalos (ranked 3977 p4p, 306 weight class). Graybeard comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dome Graybeard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graybeard misses with a body shot.
Avalos takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Graybeard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Avalos circles away quickly and effectively.
Avalos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Graybeard.
And Avalos tries to counter it with a takedown but Graybeard pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Graybeard cracks a nice hook into Avalos's ribs.
Graybeard lunges at Avalos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Avalos's hand.
Avalos avoids the body shot from Graybeard.
The fighters circle momentarily. Graybeard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Avalos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Avalos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Graybeard napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Graybeard is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

What can Graybeard do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Avalos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Graybeard sprawls well. Graybeard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Avalos gets slowly back to his feet.

A punch lands to the side of Avalos 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A looping hook to the body misses from Graybeard. Avalos does a little dance to reset his feet.

Graybeard scores with a sloppy right hand. Avalos should have avoided that one.
Graybeard moves out of range of the strikes.
Graybeard swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Avalos on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheers as Graybeard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Avalos doesn't seem phased though.
