PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Adams (ranked 5478 p4p, 79 weight class) and Warren Peace (ranked 5476 p4p, 80 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Adams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to stiff upper lip. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams gets a takedown into half guard.
Adams thows a huge punch but Peace dodges it nicely.
Peace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Adams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Adams throwing shots but Peace is blocking nicely.
Adams is thwarting Peace's attempts to control the position.
Adams drops an elbow to the side of Peace's head.

It looks like Warren Peace has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams is nestled in close to Peace, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adams lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The cut above Warren Peace's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Warren Peace's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
