Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naoki Matsuhiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dominickoy machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). machida has chosen the game as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoki Matsuhiko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, dominickoy machida!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsuhiko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but machida swivels and escapes.
machida swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
machida misses with a double jab.
machida is looking to clinch.
Matsuhiko avoids a punch combination nicely.
Matsuhiko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. machida tries to avoid it but Matsuhiko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag machida to the ground. machida escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
machida tries to clinch there but Matsuhiko circles away.
Matsuhiko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Matsuhiko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Matsuhiko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Matsuhiko content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
machida tries to get to full guard but Matsuhiko has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
machida won't allow Matsuhiko to pass to mount.
Matsuhiko stops machida from getting back to his feet.
machida controlling the position for now.
Matsuhiko trying to control from half guard but machida is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
machida keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Matsuhiko has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can machida defend it? Matsuhiko steps over the head and cranks it - machida is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Matsuhiko!
