Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mack Truck (ranked 4937 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Wick (ranked 6720 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mack Truck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Wick!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truck throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wick was covering up waiting for the punch and Truck finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Wick manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Wick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Truck just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wick decides to pull guard.
Truck trying to control but Wick is working from the bottom.
Truck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Truck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wick throws his legs up looking for a submission but Truck uses it to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Truck wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wick keeps working.
Wick looks to move to half guard but instead Truck has passed into mount! Damn!
Truck breaks from Wick's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Truck working for a guillotine from mount but Wick is in no mood to give up.
Wick wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Wick trying to control the hands but Truck breaks the grip.
A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Wick's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Truck trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Truck is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wick has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Truck throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Wick!
A lull in the action here.
Wick tries to roll but Truck sticks to his back.
Wick defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Truck's arms.
Truck is breathing heavily.
Truck missing with strikes.

Truck doesn't have the hooks in and Wick manages to turn into his guard.
Wick looking to sit in guard and control but Truck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Truck will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wick is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Truck gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack Truck dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wick takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wick pushes Truck up against the cage in a clinch.
Truck wants to get back to striking at distance but Wick won't allow it.
Truck is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wick can do to turn this around?
Truck has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wick avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Wick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wick misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wick tries to clinch but Truck is having none of it.
Truck tries to counter with a takedown but Wick is quick to defend against it.
Truck instigates a clinch.
Wick gets underhooks to prevent Truck's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Truck has had enough of the clinch but Wick keeps him there for the moment.

Truck is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Truck pulls guard.
Wick's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Truck wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wick is now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wick throwing shots but Truck is blocking nicely.
Wick is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Truck has managed to free his arm - good work.
Truck is looking to control Wick's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Truck avoid being mounted?

Truck is trying to stand.
Truck actively working from the bottom here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wick in particular looking to stall.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
It looks like Wick is going to stand back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Wick gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wick tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Truck counters with a left and a right that stings Wick.
Wick misses with an uppercut
and Truck counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wick fails with the takedown.
Truck scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Truck gets to mount! Wick was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Truck controlling from the full mount.
Wick tries to get back to half guard but can't.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wick takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack Truck dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Truck moves into the clinch.
Truck breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wick forces Truck back against the cage and clinches.
Wick is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Truck can't fight it off and eventually Wick manages to take the fight to the floor. Truck looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wick lying in Truck's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Truck decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Wick taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
