The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weed lunges at Kropotkin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kropotkin's hand.
Nice shot by Weed.
Kropotkin defending well as Weed loads up on a big left hand.
A jab from Weed misses.
Weed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Weed tries to bum rush Kropotkin with a series of wild strikes but Kropotkin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Weed scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kropotkin doesn't seem bothered though.
Weed misses with a looping left.
And Kropotkin tries to counter it with a takedown but Weed pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Kropotkin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Weed is looking for a sweep. Kropotkin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kropotkin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Weed is looking for a sweep. Kropotkin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Weed is trying to control but can't.

Weed is trying to improve his position.
Weed gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Kropotkin avoids the attempt from Weed to control.
Kropotkin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kropotkin looking to finish Weed with some ground and pound. This is bad for Weed!

Weed is rocked!
Kropotkin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Weed in real trouble here! The ref calls for Weed to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
