The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silly takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nixon slips under a jab.
Nixon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Some wild striking there from Nixon.
Nixon throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Slapped Silly has been cut.
Nixon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nixon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silly thows a left - swing and a miss!
Silly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silly takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice defenses there by Nixon.
A little jabbing left from Nixon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Silly loads up on a big right hand but Nixon slips the punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silly throws an overhand right that lands on Nixon's shoulder, as Nixon tries to avoid the shot.
Silly throws a body shot but no joy.
Nixon is looking for the big counter here.
A slow jab from Silly misses its intended target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silly. Nixon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silly misses with a hook. Nixon ducked under it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silly closes the distance but Nixon moves to the side

and Nixon counters with a crisp one two that drops Silly! Nixon thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Silly to his feet! Silly is in big trouble!

Silly is rocked!
Nixon throws an overhand right that has Silly reeling! Nixon follows up with more punches and Silly is out cold! This one is all over!

A less than humble Richard Nixon misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
