The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Espiga throws a jab but it's blocked by Sparks.
Sparks moves in looking to clinch but Espiga pushes him off.
Espiga takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nice uppercut lands for Espiga. That snapped Sparks's head back.
Sparks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Sparks shoots in looking for a takedown but Espiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sparks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A less than humble Juan Martin Espiga misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Frankie Sparks spoke after the fight, saying 'sorry better try harder I guess'.
