Ribeiro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buchanan avoids it really well and circles away.

Buchanan throws a lazy right hand but Ribeiro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ribeiro is on top in guard.
Ribeiro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Buchanan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ribeiro has Buchanan in his guard.

Ribeiro pushes a forearm under Buchanan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Buchanan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

After winning the bout, Marcus Ribeiro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
